Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Houzwallet, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Houzwallet is a personal budgeting and organizational tool for households.

Houzwallet is not a bank, lender, or money services business. It does not hold, move, or insure money, does not pay bills, and does not transfer funds. Marking an item as "paid" or scheduling a due date is record-keeping only — you remain responsible for actually paying every bill, tax, and subscription at your real financial institutions.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Houzwallet, and 18 or older to subscribe to Premium. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Household members you invite share the same budget data. Only invite people you trust: any member can view and change the household's entries, goals, and settings. You are responsible for who you invite.

• Premium is billed through PayPal at the price shown on the Plans page, in US dollars, either monthly or yearly.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time in your PayPal account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Premium activates for your whole household, and we do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
• Payment disputes should first be raised with us at support@houzwallet.com.

Do not misuse Houzwallet: no attempting to access other households' data, no scraping, reverse engineering, reselling, or automated bulk use of the app or the Assistant, no uploading unlawful content, and no using the app to store anyone's full bank card numbers, banking passwords, or PINs — the app is designed so you never need to.

Everything in Houzwallet — budgets, forecasts, the Financing Calculator, Smart Savings, Automation plans, and AI answers from the Assistant (Bob & Pat) — is for informational, educational, and simulation purposes only. It is not certified financial planning, investment, accounting, or legal advice. Consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.

Calculations, alerts, and scanned figures depend on the data you enter and on AI models that can make mistakes. Houzwallet does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any calculation, alert, or AI answer. Always double-check important figures and dates against your actual statements.

You keep ownership of the data, photos, and entries you add. You give us a limited licence to store and process it solely to run the app for you and your household, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not upload content you have no right to share, including photos of other people without permission.

We work to keep Houzwallet available, but the service is provided "as is" and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features — including with reasonable notice for planned maintenance. We may update these terms; significant changes will be announced in the app and the date below updated.

You can stop using Houzwallet and delete your account at any time by emailing support@houzwallet.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law, or that put the service or other users at risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Houzwallet and its operators are not liable for overdraft fees, late fees, penalties, missed deadlines, service disconnections, credit impacts, or other financial losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the app or reliance on its alerts, dates, and estimates. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
